curry goat - slow cooker

Found this recipe through Pinterest, and with a few tweaks of my own and using a slow cooker (for 3 hours), I’m in love with this recipe. I actually tastes like the authentic dish when I was last out there, and my aunty tasted it and the plate was cleaned off!

Chicken Gumbo (slow cooker)

This is my winter favourite and paired with fresh crusty rolls from the oven - heavenly! Really simple to make - which suits me well with shift work.

pizza express

Now coming from a woman who is lactose intolerant - this is truly my vice. To my delight they now serve this with vegan cheese so I don’t feel as guilty eating this. I love the atmosphere of Pizza Express and the aesthetics of the place also.

Snacks

The first work Christmas party I went to - the starter menu was pretty limited as to things I could try or even wanted to. Liver Pâté and toasted melba was on there and instantly I felt in love with this. It is a unique taste which isn’t for all, but I do like this teamed with a French bread sliced.

nando’s

Everyone loves a cheeky Nando’s! I think I’ve been that many times 1. I no longer need the menu, 2. It’s about time I have shares in the company! Great place for a catch up with friends with vegetarian options now available. Big Narstie Voice Winning!

SmashBurger

I love this place! Literally just stumbled on this restaurant earlier this year with one of my many catch ups with my friend from work - we usually go to Nando’s but decided hey why not try the burger place over there? We were not disappointed at all.
