Calm.

"Don't let any aspect of life get on top of you.. You're supposed to be a Queen. Queens don't get phased by anything #Calm"

As there are four seasons in the year, such is the same in life. Spring. New life, fresh growth. Summer. The time of enjoying those new things, time of relaxation and enjoyment. Brighter days, everything is going right. Autumn the calmer change. Where old things start to drop off, we reflect on the two previous seasons, #SweaterWeather, the new A/W wardrobe comes out. Evenings out and such. Then winter. My least favourite season due to the coldness. The wind becomes bitter and the days are shorter mainly spent indoors wishing the sun brought heat as well as light. Hibernation. Things take a rest in preparation for the next time to come. Then the first blossom appears the birds singing and we realise it's spring again.

This happens in every aspect of our lives and we need to recognise these seasons and when the optimum time for sowing is, for watering and harvesting the best fruits. This takes time of planning, understanding the timing of life; when it's time to move onto the next stage. Transitioning from one mindset to another. Enjoying every moment along the way. - Enjoy the process - The quote I began with was an encouragement from a good friend who reminded me again of the status I hold (as do you) of royalty. We are Queens and Kings. What seemed like a million things were attacking me from different angles I was at a point I was sick of it and totally done with it all. But he reminded me to hold my head up as the queen I am and just keep calm and take it one step at a time. We can be quick to lose motivation for things when they don't go the way we want them to. Forgetting to go back to the drawing board, consult the lead architect of life (God) and see what needs to be pruned, where to spend more of our attention, and wait for it to flourish. And then ENJOY the product outcome! Some minor things can be blown up out of proportion, seemingly major and it's all about getting these things back into their realistic perspective.

The new year often marks new beginnings for us, but let it be a refreshing reminder that you've been through things where you didn't think you'd make it out and hey - you're still alive.
