Realise you don't need to do everything of your own strength and understanding.

Following the #iAmFound Conference Worth & Purpose at NTCG The Rock, my friend YJ* spoke regarding daily affirmations. We daily need to remind ourselves of who we are, and our worth through Jesus Christ. Many times we got lost in life trying to found out who we are, many times slipping into a habit of comparison to others and where they are in life. We have a timeline of our life and what should happen and when - forgetting that if we commune and communicate with God. He'll lead us in the right direction and sometimes actually redirect us. We beat ourselves up over mistakes and bad decisions, yet we are forgiven as we ask for it. We put on a mask of a happy face and showcasing that everything is okay - when inside your a mess and you don't even like yourself. This is something I've been going through for many years myself. Currently I'm in a process of restarting, going back to basics, being broken down, taking off the mask of 'Yeah I'm okay - honestly I am' [clearly not being honest], being real and allowing God to rebuild me.
I'm restarting before the date of 01.01.2017 - when many people look at changing how they live, their lifestyle and such just to revert back to how they were before. I've taken a serious look into my life and realise that the gifts that have been given to me, I'm not using to the full capacity, I need to look after my physical body more too - so you shall be hearing more about my fitness journey, eating/recipes that I like, the adventures of Nae, and embracing singleness! Argh that's a big one there eh love?! As I say in my posts over and over, I speak from my personal experiences and from these I hope that I can help and inspire someone else.
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus,
His grace is sufficient, mercy abounding like a mighty sea,
There is nothing, no-one that can separate me from the Love of God.
When I'm hurt and broken - I am health and restored,
I am not longer a slave to sin,
As far as the East is from the West that is as far as my sins are removed from me,
He justified me.
Who God says I am, I am:
Joint heirs with Jesus,
Loved by God,
Forgiven by God,
Set free and a new creation.
He began a good work and
He is faithful to see it to completion.
No matter what I do, there is nothing I can do that would make God love me any less..
I am worthy through Christ.
The same mighty power that raised Christ from the grave,
The same mighty power the heals, restores, revives
Lives within my soul.
Every promise over by life stand,
I am not forgotten even when others leave and I feel alone.
Any battle I face I remember - I am more than a conqueror!
There's no need to be perfect to inspire others.
Let people be inspired by how you deal with your imperfections.
It's time to restart how you see yourself.
